The East Metro Arts & Culture Council is a 501c3 Arts organization committed to encouraging and promoting our community artists and performers, our diversity in culture, and providing educational venues for those arts and cultures in schools, theaters, civic organizations, and our community parks.

The Gresham Little Theater is a Community Theater and a Member of the American Association of Community Theaters (AACT). We offer a variety of opportunities for adults and youth alike to participate in many different activities in the performing arts.

Gresham Little Theater

Philosophy & Purpose...

Gresham Little Theater will work to provide a volunteer based theater organization developed by and for the community to include all aspects of the theater arts for the purpose of entertainment and education. The Gresham Little Theater will offer support to other local, nonprofit and charitable organizations.

Benefits:

- To perpetuate the education and creation of theater, dance, and music.

- Provide the community with a healthy form of social interaction for all ages and abilities.

- Provide theater arts as a positive and entertaining form of social expression.

- Promote cultural diversity to enrich our community.

- Enhance the community’s economic future through the provision of the arts.

- Encourage the free expression of the individual while engaging the community.

Objectives:

- Gresham Little Theater is committed to providing excellent services and productions.

- GLT will encourage diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the organization.

- Our productions will strive to be appropriate, entertaining, educational, and environmentally sensitive.

- GLT will make every effort to offer services and productions which are affordable and accessible.
